Introduction

My name is Miss Fedele. I am currently a Senior at Western Illinois University and am persuing a B.A. in English with a Teacher Certification. I also have a minor in Psychology. I will be certified to teach 6th-12th grade English/Language Arts in December 2013.

About Me

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to become a teacher. It wasn't until middle school that I knew that I wanted to teach English. I have always enjoyed reading and writing and of course the school setting. My aunt has been a kindergarten teacher for over twenty years and I have memories of wanting to be just like her, and when I started exploring this career field, I realized that I wanted to teach English/Language Arts.

I have worked as a waitress in the service industry for six years and have acquired great commmunication and multitasking skills. Also, I have been a trainer for new employees for the last four years.

I have always been very athletic. In school, I played volleyball and softball. I have been playing softball since I was six and volleyball since I was twelve. I played both of them through high school. If I had the opportunity, I would love to coach one of these some day along with teaching.

In middle school and high school I also participated in Student Council in addition to playing sports. In eighth grade, I was the president of Student Council and gave a speech at our graduation ceremony. In high school, I was only a delegate because I was beat out by other candidates. I participated in several food drives and other school fundraisers as well.
